Hope House

A residential discipleship and recovery program for men.

10 Beds. 2 Baths. 1 Pursuit.

Hope House is a 10-bed recovery house and discipleship program for men. Located right in South Philly, Hope House provides a safe space for men to pursue sobriety, mature as disciples of Jesus Christ, and learn the life skills they need to transition successfully back into society. It is the heart of our ministry.

Addiction is ultimately a spiritual issue. Full recovery necessitates transformation within a spiritual community. We meet this need not only by giving men a place to live, but also by intentionally integrating them into the life and family of Christ Church South Philly. As an integral part of the church, Hope House Men learn what it means to serve and be served while finding the support system within the Body of Christ that all Christians need to walk faithfully with the Lord.

Three Phases of Recovery

Each man at Hope House walks through a tailored 90-day Individual Recovery Plan (IRP) and is mentored by a church member.

Phase I
Addiction Management

Assessing initial needs to get someone to the place where they can productively work towards recovery.

Phase II
Discipleship

Building a firm foundation of Biblical truth through active involvement in our recovery support services.

Phase III
Restoration

Transitioning men into a local church and back into the community as healthy and productive members of society.
